Is acai berry a scam? The question shouldn’t have been asked in the first place. The miracle from
Brazil is too venerable to be considered a scam. Thousands of people are relying on the industry both here and in
the jungles of Amazon for their livelihood. These people are honest and they themselves have been consuming these
pulpy fruit starting from their forefathers several of hundreds of years ago.
The 2cm purple berry has been a part of the native diet for hundreds of years and it has
brought them good health and no bad side effects have ever been reported. The products are harvested, processed,
and produced worthy of any pharmaceutical products produced everywhere in the world. The time, money and effort
spent are too huge just to come up with elaborate hoax and fake products.
The problem is caused by few fraudulent businessmen who want to make a fast buck at the
expense of the legitimacy of the entire acai berry enterprise. But their modus operandi is now completely exposed.
If we take time to read about the warnings and heed them, these frauds will die a natural death and you will
continue to enjoy the benefits that acai berry has in store for you.
Buy your products only from big and established companies. These institutions won’t tarnish
their reputation by selling adulterated and fake products. Don’t be tempted by offers of free trial packs and
samples from unknown and unfamiliar websites. Most of these are fly-by-night websites created for the sole purpose
of taking advantage of acai berry’s reputation and to feed on your trust on the product’s high antioxidant
properties. Before dealing with any of them check their backgrounds first. But to be on the safe side, ignore them
completely.
Acai berry is found in several countries in the Latin American continent. But the most widely
popular products are from Brazil, particularly those that are found in the fertile grounds of the mighty Amazon
River traversing the length of the equally great Amazon Jungles. It seems to be just recently that the product was
endorsed by celebrities in their very popular daytime shows like Oprah and mentioned in the interviews of some
famous actors. Then suddenly the product became an overnight sensation. The demand and sales sky rocketed and
everything that had the name acai in it was lapped up by the unsuspecting public not knowing that almost half of
the products are fakes.
Then it was followed by the free samples and free trial pack schemes. Consumers were tricked
into signing memberships in return of getting free acai products. You are made to believe that you’re just signing
up for the free acai products, but in your haste to get the free sample packs you didn’t read the fine prints about
the consequent deliveries after a certain time had elapsed. These deliveries will now be charged to your credit
cards.
You’ll be surprised by the appearance of the products in your mailboxes or door steps and no
amount of refusal from you either by phone or e-mail will stop the deliveries. And in the meantime, you’re
inventory keeps growing because of more and more products delivered to you. Don’t complain if you receive the first
deliveries, juts change your card right away and then you complain. You report the incident to the proper
government agencies which acknowledges that there’s little they and the police can do to apprehend the
culprits.
The banks can help you reverse the charges if you can show them evidence of frauds. They’ll
be happy to oblige your request.
Is acai berry a scam? Some people are hasty in their conclusions; the same people who attack
everything they are ignorant about. Although disclaimers have been issued dissociating themselves from acai berry
products, this doesn’t diminish the affectivity of the product.
